Our Privacy Commitment

TV-Presets is built with your privacy as a core principle. We believe your data belongs to you, and we've designed our app to respect that belief.

Information We DON'T Collect

TV-Presets does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
• Device information or identifiers
• Usage data or analytics
• TV viewing habits or channel preferences
• Network information (WiFi names, IP addresses)
• Location data
• Any other personal or identifying information

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following information is stored exclusively on your iPhone and never leaves your device:

Preset Configurations

• Channel numbers you save to preset buttons
• Custom names and colors for your presets
• Preset button arrangement

TV Connection Settings

• Samsung TV IP addresses you connect to
• TV names and connection preferences

App Preferences

• Settings like haptic feedback preferences
• Whether you've completed the onboarding tutorial

Important: All of this data remains on your device. It is never uploaded to our servers, third-party services, or any external location.

Network Communication

TV-Presets communicates directly with your Samsung TV over your local WiFi network:

• TV Discovery: The app scans your local network to find Samsung TVs
• TV Control: Commands (channel changes, volume, etc.) are sent directly to your TV
• Local Only: All communication stays within your home network
• No Internet Required: The app works without an internet connection

No data from these communications is collected, logged, or transmitted outside your local network.

In-App Purchases

TV-Presets offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock all 24 preset slots. This purchase is processed entirely through Apple's App Store:

• Apple handles all payment processing
• We receive only a confirmation that the purchase was completed
• No payment information is collected or stored by TV-Presets
• Purchase restoration is handled by Apple's StoreKit framework

Third-Party Services

TV-Presets does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no:

• Analytics frameworks (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• Advertising SDKs
• Social media integrations
• Crash reporting services
• Any other third-party code that could collect data

Children's Privacy

TV-Presets does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages.

Data Security

Since TV-Presets doesn't collect or transmit your data:

• There are no servers to be compromised
• There are no databases containing your information
• Your data is protected by your device's security (Face ID, Touch ID, passcode)
• Local data is backed up to iCloud only if you have iCloud backup enabled for the app

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

If we make any material changes to how we handle your information, we will notify you through the app or update the app description in the App Store.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect any personal data, there is no data for you to access, modify, or delete from our servers. All your data is stored locally on your device and can be managed through:

• Clearing Presets: Edit or delete individual presets within the app
• Removing TV Connections: Disconnect and forget TVs in the app settings
• Complete Reset: Delete and reinstall the app to remove all local data

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

TV-Presets does not sell, share, or disclose personal information. Since we don't collect personal information, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) data rights do not apply. However, we fully support your right to privacy.

European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

TV-Presets does not process any personal data as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Since no personal data is collected, GDPR data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, etc.) are not applicable.
